At the beginning of July, Pastors Wes & Adriana announced that King’s Church International is facing a number of venue challenges with less regular use of the Theatre Royal Windsor at the same time as changes to the Harte & Garter Hotel.
The church immediately held a powerful 10 days of prayer with hundreds in attendance at evening prayer meetings, which had to overflow into the corridors and other spaces each day.
Now, as well as pursuing long-term solutions for the church, there is a plan for the church’s meeting places for rest of 2019. Pastors Wes & Adriana shared with the church that this is a tremendous opportunity to see great progress, rather than a season to worry about change.
“Thank God we are a church on the move. We are going to face every challenge and maximise the possibilities of every change. Now is the time to go forward on all fronts. We are going to see great things in the coming days.”
Service Plans
King’s Church International will continue to meet at the theatre at 9.30am until Sunday 11th August but no longer with use of the hotel for refreshments and kids ministry. Children will now meet at other venues, with a family room and 3-5s at the adult service venue, and 5-9s and 9-13s at King’s House.
The Harte & Garter Hotel is secured for the church’s 6pm services, which will continue as normal every week.
For five weeks from the 18th August to 15th September, the morning service time will move to 2pm at the Harte & Garter as the theatre is not available.
Thereafter, the church will use the theatre at 9.30am when it is available and revert to H&G for 2pm when it is not. Children’s programmes for under 13s and a Welcome Area for those who are new to the church will continue to run every week.

Children’s Programmes
Children meet at the first service every Sunday (9.30am or 2pm) and all of our services host a family room for parents to use with children of any age.
There are separate children’s programmes for children aged 3-5, 5-9, and 9-13. The 3-5 year olds meet at the same venue as the adults and we have an exciting new venue for 5-9s and 9-13s at Windsor College. Windsor College is our venue for these age groups regardless of other service times or locations.
