School of Leaders Graduation Day
69 students graduated from the KCI School of Leaders on Sunday 5th September.
A special presentation ceremony was held in both of the two morning services, where the graduates each received a certificate and a Maxwell Leadership Bible from Pastor Wes Richards.
Their graduation marks their commitment to participating in the Great Commission, set by Jesus, to ‘go and make disciples' (Matthew 28:18-20).
The School of Leaders forms part of the ‘Ladder of Success' of developing Christians to be disciples.
The 'Ladder of Success' consists of four steps of winning people to a faith in Jesus, consolidating their faith, discipling them, and sending them to help train his disciples.
This strategy of focussing on twelve disciples, like Jesus did, has become known as the G12 vision, leading The Wall Street Journal to report that, ‘The Wharton business school couldn't have designed a better growth strategy.'
First pioneered by Pastor César Castellanos in Bogotá, Colombia, Misión Carismática Internacional church, founded in 1983 with eight people has grown to more than 200,000 members today and more than 200 MCI churches across Colombia.
The School of Leaders is a practical course, which applies basic Christian teaching to everyday life, helping every Christian play a role in the Great Commission.
Whether someone has a PhD in Theology or left school without any qualifications, the School of Leaders is for everyone, to train and prepare all members of the church to lead others in their faith.
