Pastor Wes Richards spoke at the recent G12 Conference in Sweden held from 15th-17th May. He was accompanied by a group of 17 from King's Church International.

Pastor Wes was invited by conference hosts, Pastors Lennart and Carolina Torebring of Sodermalms Church, to join Pastor César Castellanos in addressing more than 1000 delegates at the Eriksdalshallen sports arena in the Sodermalm area of Stockholm.

In his first talk, based on Esther 4, Pastor Wes spoke about the challenges we face today, the privileged position that we are in and the action we must take - as Esther did - to see change in our nations.

The response of the people and the comments expressed by Pastor Lennart showed that this was a powerful, timely and much appreciated message.

Pastor César Castellanos from MCI church in Bogotá, who have pioneered the G12 vision, challenged leaders from Sweden and across Europe to model discipleship based on the model of 12. He encouraged them to love and care for people like an extended family.

He reminded those gathered of the question that Jesus will ask us, ‘Where is your fruit?’

In his second talk, ‘How one church can effect the world’ based on Acts 11:19-30, Pastor Wes described how the church in Antioch was effective in winning people to Christ, discipling them and then sending them as leaders to reproduce disciples.

The music for the conference was led by the Sodermalms Church who showcased an excellent array of talent and creativity during their worship.
