Make the Most of this Opportunity
This bad weather is good news. Or at least it can be! It can be an opportunity for us to learn how we can overcome obstacles.
Yes the snow and cold is preventing us from meeting us together this Sunday but we are going to use this opportunity to contact every member and regular attendee to give them a personal call and a word of encouragement.
If you or someone you know does not receive a call, it will not be because we didn't try. It was probably that you were out or that we don't have you up to date number.
If so please give us the number and we will improve our database and communication with you.
This weekend we are going to move to a new level in our telephone follow up ministry!
The apostle Paul says in Ephesians 5:16 that we should make ‘the most of every opportunity'.
Take the opportunity this ‘free' Sunday to pray and plan your daily devotions. Spend some quality time praying and relaxing with your family. Call a friend or neighbour and encourage them as you have been encouraged.
Focus on the goodness and favour of God in your life and circumstances in 2010.
