Kidz Camp a great success
While England was enjoying a heat wave last weekend, 40 children and 20 workers made the most of the sunshine at this year's Kidz Camp.
The action packed weekend at Paccar Scout Camp, Chalfont Heights included time at the adventure playground, the famous ice cream gutter, rifle range shooting, skittle alley, a huge inflatable slide, camp fire and the craft tent which was again a big hit.
The meetings were a particular highlight with action packed games and quizzes, great praise and worship assisted by the children's dance team, and Bible teaching on the story of Moses.
The story was told by the Bush, which later became the burning bush! Through this story the children learnt that God has called them for a purpose and that He promises to be with them as they trust and obey Him throughout their lives.
The children also loved the excellent food and the chance to spend quality time with their Kidz Cell leaders.
Children's Pastor, Paul Bristow, said "I would like to say a big well done to all the team who worked so hard to make the camp such a great success."
