Guest Speakers from South Africa
Pastors Denvar and Renee Marks from Word of Faith Church in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, spoke at both services in Windsor on Sunday 29th August.
In 2003, during the first visit of KCI to Bogota, Colombia for the G12 International Conference, Pastor Wes Richards and leaders from KCI met Pastor Denvar and became good friends.
Pastor Denvar, who works as the men's pastor in his home church, and his wife Renee have a particular gift of prophecy.
Preaching in the first service about the importance of valuing the anointing of the Holy Spirit, he spoke about how it is the presence of God which will reveal what is in a person's heart.
In the second service, Pastor Denvar talked about the power of a father's example upon a person's life. He said, I thought it was only Africa which had a problem with fatherless children, but there are many who have not known the affirmation of their father." He explained how Jesus knew the affirmation of God, who said he was "well pleased" with his son.
Pastor Denvar and Renee prayed for people at the end of the each service and gave a number of prophecies to people.
