CHALFONT HEIGHTS CAMP
11 to 14’s Camp
Calling all year 6-9s! 2008 sees the launch of your very own youth weekend away. This will be an amazing opportunity to get away with your friends and pointbreak crew.
Who?
You will need to be in current school years 6 to 9 and an active member of a King’s Church cell group.
When?
Chalfont Camp will take place over the weekend of 20th to 22nd June 2008. Starting at 5pm on Friday the fun will be kicking off all the way through to 5pm on Sunday.

The camp is set at the fantastic Chalfont Heights site which is used by many scout & guides groups.

How Much?
Cost for Camp
£69 full board inc. transport and activities
Minimum deposit
£25. There is limited availability so you will need to get your deposit & completed booking form into the church offices ASAP. Final payment due 30th May 2008.
To help you budget, you may want to pay in installments. Here are a few ideas:

In order to book your place, please follow the instructions in the enclosed booking form. All money must be paid in full by 30th May 2008. Failure to do so will result in your place being cancelled. You can pay via cheque or standing order. You can also submit post dated cheques which we will bank accordingly. See booking form for details.
General Information
TRANSPORT
Return transport from Slough to Chalfont Heights is included in the cost. Mini buses will be leaving from King’s Church offices (Cranbourne House, Bath Road, Slough SL1 3UX) at 5pm Friday 20th June and returning to 5pm Sunday 22nd June.
What's Included?
Return transport (Slough to Chalfont Heights), accommodation, food and activities are all included in the price of the camp. However, you will need a little money for the onsite tuck shop and gift shop. The accommodation at Chalfont Heights will be in dormitories and tents. We will do our best to accommodate your requests to room share requests but are unable to guarantee every request. On arrival we will inform you of who you will be sharing with. Chalfont Heights is full board with breakfast, lunch & dinner provided each day. If you have any special dietary requirements, please ensure you inform us on the booking form.
Things to Bring
You will need to bring the following: notepad, pen & Bible, wash kit, towels, sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes including sports kit, torch, waterproofs (it is England!), swimming gear and anything you may need for any of the activities and competitions. You will also need a little money for the onsite tuck shop and gift shop.
Insurance
King’s Church has adequate Public Liability Insurance cover. However, as this camp is within the UK, travel insurance is not included in the price of the camp. If you wish to have insurance for things like injury, loss of money or damage to personal property etc. you will need to arrange this yourself.
Safety
All youth workers have undergone CRB checks and have been trained in the best practice guidelines contained in the King’s Church Child Protection Policy. Workers qualified in First Aid will be also onsite throughout the duration of the camp.
