Jonathan Aitken visits Windsor
15th July 2008
Sunday 13th July
More than 600 people attended one of our two services with guest speaker Jonathan Aitken. The former Cabinet minister, who was found guilty of lying under oath in 1999, spoke about 'Finding God in the Depths' and shared openly about his time in prison and how God had helped him.
He vividly described his detention and the many friends he made during that time and how they had found common strength from Psalm 130:
'Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.'
